Sewing and Neglecting Kids

If you know me, you know I love to sew and do crafts. I haven't had time to do much of it since Kaybree came along, but this week I made some time to do some "sew therapy." I have severly neglected children, a disgustingly dirty house, and piles of laundry to hang and fold, but who cares (not about the neglected children...just the rest)? Sometimes a girl needs to do something fun. So, I made a couple of matching baby gift sets (nursing cover, burp cloths, changing pad, and diaper/wipes holder) for Cicely and Julie, and then I made these adorable aprons for future crafters (or cooks). They were SO easy and fun. Levi, who is traditionally not interested in my crafts was even impressed with the little animals I drew and cut out to put on them. Ah, it was all worth it then. ;) Anywho, the blue one with the worm is for Kassidy for Christmas and the other two I made for a friend. I think I will make a couple more just for kicks when I can think of some more fun animals...and after all of my housework is caught up. Ha, Ha!

Do you think if I try really hard, I could be more like you one day :D. My house is filthy, my children are neglected, and I don't have any cute crafty things to show for it!

Ali Mae, in several months you will have a cute new baby to show for it! That's WAY better than some little aprons! Haven't you heard that saying, "I'm so crafty, I make people!"?

K. First of all, I LOVE that stuff you made. Like I really love it. Like more than a friend.

Secondly, I am in love with those bibs! I have one like that for Miles and I wish I had 30. Please teach me how to do that or better yet make some for me and I will pay you. Seriously. I was going to buy some more off the girl that I got them from before, but she stopped selling them. I was heart broken, but yours are even cuter than hers!

Please.

CUTE, cute, cute!!! How is it that everytime I see anything you make I have to think...."Anything I can do, she can do better!" You are a sewing QUEEN! I'm glad that you got some kuddos from Levi too!
