My Best Friends
Today I heard something that really changed the way I think about my girls. One of my friends, Brook, just found out she is going to have a baby girl. So, a group of us were talking about how exciting this is for her because she only has boys so far. So, in the conversation, Kortni said something like, "Well, now you'll always have a best friend." Sadly, I had never thought about my girls in that way. I have thought a lot about that the rest of today. They truly are my best friends! I spend more time with them than any other person, and they will be mine forever. So, when I have those rough days, I will now have comfort in knowing that I have two VERY cute best friends who will always love me, forever and ever, no matter what!
Here are their fall pictures I took a week ago (before the snow came and ruined fall).

suzi thank you so much for this post!!! it really opened my eyes to my three beautiful girls who are always there for me. thank you again
Yay for kid friends. I recently started thinking of Nana as one of my good friends. It's so much more fun doing her hair and nails when we do it together as friends instead of "hurry, get ready... do I really have to cut your nails again!" Boys are good too. Enoch's like my little boyfriend. We snuggle and play with toys... it's lots of fun. Oh, And the pictures are cuter than I could've imagined! You do a really great job!!!
I totally agree on the special friendship between mothers and daughters. I know my mom and I are really close. That is why I am so excited to be having a girl. YEAH...
