Lovin' 'em some Mc Donald's

The past two days the girls and I have been out of the house A LOT, mostly VTing. They both did really good, so after we got done today, I was going to go to Mc Donald's to get Kassidy a Happy Meal (okay a toy with a meal attached). It was right at noon, which if you know this town, you know you should NEVER try to drive anywhere around noon or five because you won't get there very fast. Anyway, we went to pull into said restaurant and there were seriously 10 cars waiting in the drive through. So, I did a 20-point turnabout and went to the one down the street. Low and behold, this one was BUSIER! So, we pulled in, did a 25-point turnabout and waited to pull out. As we were waiting, people were continuing to pull into the line to the point that there were cars BLOCKING TRAFFIC on a busy 4-lane road. Blocking traffic to wait in line at Mc Donald's? What the heck? So, then they start honking at each other. Yeah, that's going to work. Hmmmm, there was a Taco Bell, Burger King, and two Arby's within sight. So we opted for one of those and left the blockers and honkers behind. Yes, it did bug me enough to blog about it when I could be doing better things......so what? Have a stinkin' great Halloween. :)

I've noticed the back-up at a few drive-thrus around here that I didn't see in UT. I usually just think it's kind of funny--until I want a frosty...

Isn't that sad for Americans though? Seriously. Wait in line and get all nasty for a overpreserved bread-like bun with boiled pattied mystery meat between....thankfully smothered in condiment, as to cover the flavor....and thankfully served with fries...so we might toss a couple in our mouth as we cram another bite of burger in....as to not gag from the texture of that famous McMystery Meat.

What a thing to wait in line for...GROSSSS....(pst, did you get those halloween coupons that gives you free stuff at McDonalds?,,,good savings....we did....shhhhhh, I like mystery meat sometimes))
