Just Kidding!!!
Really, that is a house that we had the option to rent, but when I saw those pictures...I laughed out loud and said to myself, "there is no way I could make living in a house like this pleasant for 2 1/2 years!!" But, that gives you an idea of what he had to choose from in the great town of Erie. So, Levi moved on and found the house we really chose. Okay, so house is not quite the word to describe it. Cracker box is a better description. Levi claims that the entire upstairs (the entire living space) could fit in 1/2 of our house now. I'm okay with that, I can do the cozy, no space thing. What I can't do is...not have a dishwasher for 2 1/2 years! So, if any of you get some phone calls in the next couple years from a crazed lunatic with dishpan hands, it's me...and feel sory for me. Really, the house is going to be really nice inside, the owner is remodeling most of it. So, that's why the pics show a mess of a place. We are getting pretty excited to start this next very cold chapter in our lives.
This is my kitchen with a 70's yellow oven.
This is the dining room. At first I thought the window was a painting. Beautiful! (not our kid BTW)

The little living room.
Our back yard! It's gorgeous!

Wow! I think that is so dang exciting. You get to go out and do something new. It will be an adventure. And teh house is really cute!
Do you think that in the remodel a dishwasher will be added?
Martin and I have lived in some small places, and in some ways they are really nice. Just remember that any cool scrapping stuff or other stuff can be donated to me to make more room in your house. :)
Your yard looks beautiful and the house is great.
Welcome to Erie!
Suzi... I think it will be so fun. Nathan and I are already talking about a trip out to visit! The views are amazing. You are gonna love it! I am so excited for you and getting so sad to see you go. I guess the good thing is that if the market in az never picks up you can always move back to qc. :)
You're killing me smalls! Those first pictures are hilarious! Can you imagine living like that with those colors? I can't believe you are going to PA! WOWZER! I like your other house though, it looks cute!
I thought that maybe Levi had fessed up and told you he was joking and that he really rented the old person house. I also thought the window was a picture when I first saw it. I'm sad that you are leaving to this house!!!
Did you ever hear about Lake Effect Snow? Lets just say....keep a shovel handy! We just moved to AZ from Erie PA and love it and at the same time miss some things about Erie. Happy trails.
Those first pictures were hilarious, I was a little scared for you at first...The other house looks good though. I'm excited for you guys......
OH MY GOSH! Breath-taking! If it weren't for the could I would ask if I could come too. I think you chose the right one.
What were the people thinking that lived in the first house? That much color and "ugly" should be illegal. Is that why it was being rented, because they were prosecuted and put in jail?
ok now i know where you are going i should of read first lol when are you guys moving the backyard is gorgeous
I am so excited for you guys!
Your house will be great and the scenery you have is beautiful!!
How does the rent compare to AZ? Everything is more expensive in CA so I am always curious about the rest of the states.
Love ya.
Aww, I was soo excited that someone else was into really old, smelly houses! Dang! We're actually renting Russel and Myrel Westover's house on the corner on JC by the church and the elementary school. I'm sooo in love with it. It has all the original amazing hard wood, and no squeaks, and the 7' ceilings that curve at all the corners. I love it! luckily, no ugly colors, but the kitchen is the size of most apartment bathrooms...SMALL! Anyway, congrats!
You scared me!!! Don't do that! Although you could have done some neat Christmas decorations with your kitchen counter. Will you have room in your real house for us to come visit?
