What's Up With That?

Kassidy has had a new thing lately that really grosses me out, and makes me really mad at the same time. The other morning I went to get her out of bed and this is what I found staring at me:

Yes, the thing that was staring at me was a sopping wet pee-pee diaper that she had undone and let flop over the front of her pajamas! Gross! So, of course instead of taking care of the situation right away, I got my camera. Well, if that wasn't bad enough, the other day we were in JoAnn's and I heard her start saying "potty." Well, she says it all the time after she pees in her diaper, so I thought nothing of it. I finally decided to quit ignoring her and looked...she was standing in the cart with nothing on from the waist down! Yikes!! So, now she's an exhibitionist! Now, any time she's in her bed trying to go to sleep or waiting for someone to get her out of bed, off come the clothes or diaper. This morning she was completely in the buff. Oh, and let's not forget the TWO times she has now peed on our carpet. Yikes! So, I'm grossed out and I have been washing her sheets WAY too much. Help! What do I do?

Sydney went through a time when she was taking off her diaper. We started putting it on backwards and taping it on.

Good luck. Sometimes kids are yucky! :)

I was going to say the same thing about putting the diaper on backwards. Or there is always potty training! :) Good luck!

Ok, so funny that you posted this. I have been telling everyone this exact thing about Jace. He goes to the bathroom in his diaper and then immediately runs and takes it off. It is driving me absolutely crazy!! I have thought about the whole potty training thing but in so many ways he does not seem ready. I feel your frustration, let me know if you figure out something that works.

May I suggest duct tape?
Ha, honestly I don't know. The older Gracie gets the more I realize I really have no idea what I'm doing.
