Deer Hunted

You know that part in Tommy Boy where the deer wakes up in the back of their car? Well, that almost happened to us today. It started out as a normal day, but as we were driving to church a deer hit us. Yes, you read that right. We did not hit the deer, it hit us. Here we were innocently driving, and all of a sudden...KaBoom! It ran right into Levi's driver's side door, shattered the window, tore the mirror completely off, and dented that side all up. Oh, and it shot glass and stinky deer hair all through the car. As you can see from the pictures, the deer went out with a bang and made as much damage as possible. And yes, it did go out (died), probably on impact because by the time Levi got back there to get it out of the road, it was a gonner. So, all of us were covered in glass and deer hair and standing out in the snow. There were so many nice people that stopped to make sure we were okay. We are very glad that we are all okay. We must have been getting blessings for being on our way to church. :) So, just 6 days after we were finally not having to arrange our schedules around having only one car, we are back to one car. Thank goodness we got another car...another blessing. Levi tried to claim this deer as his first PA kill, but I think the deer gets the credit. (not that it wanted it)
